It was just another typical, college Halloween weekend. I wasn't planning on going anywhere, but last minute decided to dress up as a scarecrow. I was in my house with some girlfriends. My friend, Emily, was Snapchatting Noah. I was caught in the background of a Snapchat picture. Emily ran up to me and said, "My friend Noah just asked who that cute scarecrow in the back is?!" I immediately crept on his Instagram. I saw he played baseball and basketball and that was it. I waited for him to message me, but if you know Noah, he was probably worried. So naturally, I took the lead and messaged him first. We haven't stopped talking since October 26, 2018.

October 26th, 2018 the best day of my life and the night I will remember forever! I was sitting on my couch watching the Red Sox play the LA Dodgers in Game 3 of the World Series. I was snapchatting my friend Emily Weaver and that's the moment I saw the most beautiful, cutest scarecrow in the background of Emily's one snapchat to me. I just had to respond back and ask "who's the cute scarecrow behind you?." Almost instantly I received a follow on Instagram from a girl named Lindsey Lockhart (what a great name to go with such an awesome girl, good job Mark and Laura!), I wanted to message her so bad ,but if you know me you can probably imagine how much I was worrying and overthinking if I should message her or not. Luckily for me Lindsey had some liquid courage and messaged me first and the rest is history! I still have the first message she ever sent to me saved on Instagram, "What's up" (how original). The first time we hung out was the following weekend, Sunday November 4th. Lindsey's first words to me were "well are you just going to stand there or are you going to take your shoes off and come in". I should've known right then there what I was getting myself into! I'm so thankful for October 26th and November 4th. These are the two best days of my life and I cant wait to add July 22nd, 2023 to that list when I get to marry my bestfriend and the most beautiful girl on the planet!
