What is the altitude at Piney River Ranch or Vail?

Answer

Altitude sickness can be a very real thing. Please be sure to drink water and stay hydrated especially if you are coming from the sea level (as many of you are!!). Piney River Ranch- 9,350 above sea level Vail- 8,150 above sea level

Will transportation be provided to the ceremony and reception?

Answer

YES! We will not allow anyone to drink and drive as we will be 12 miles up a dirt road. We will provide transportation to and from Vail Village to Piney River Ranch. The ceremony and reception will be in the same place so you won't have to worry about that!

What do I need to know?

Answer

Our wedding will be in the mountains in the fall. As it is the most beautiful time in Colorado (Aspens!!!), we want you to be aware that it CAN get cold in higher elevations. Although the reception is covered and heated, there will be plenty to do outside so please bring a jacket or sweater to ensure that you enjoy the evening..... and S'mores!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

No one loves kiddos as much as we do! But we'd like to keep it an adult-only night.
