Please do your best to arrive 20-30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time to allow for plenty of time to park, mingle a bit as desired, and find a seat.
We will have our photographers, Alex and Andrew, capturing the ceremony beautifully, and it is important to us that they have full view of each moment without worrying about phones and cameras in the way. We also want you to each be a present part of our ceremony without distractions, so please refrain from taking photos during that time. However, during the reception, take ALL the pictures, and we can't wait to see the sweet memories you capture!
We know from experience that this is *the* question whenever planning to attend a wedding! It will be June in the south, and we want you to be comfortable, so think light/springy/summery colors and fabrics. We just ask that you leave the jeans and t-shirts at home for the evening. Gentlemen, nice pants and a button-up (tie optional ;)) is perfect. Ladies, pull out that dress or skirt you have been dying to wear and come twirl on the dance floor!
Our plan (fingers crossed for no rain!) is to have our ceremony outside on the lawn, with our reception in an air-conditioned open barn space.
First of all, thank you for your desire to contribute to our home and future together. It means the world to us. Secondly, we have registered directly through Zola, so you can click the link to our registry tab up at the top of this website and see the items we have registered for there.
YES!!!! Kids are a huge part of our community, and we are both teachers, so our wedding day would not feel complete to us without your whole family. So if you are able to, make it a family affair! We hope that the day will feel accessible and kid-friendly as much as possible.
In order to prepare accordingly, we would love to have everyone RSVP'd no later than May 1st! We can't wait to see you!
