Question

When should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive no later than 4:15pm, we will start the ceremony promptly at 4:30 pm.

Question

Is transportation provided?

Answer

Yes, transportation will be provided from the Home2 Suites to the venue and back. The buses will pick up at Home2Suites at 3:50pm- be in the lobby early. The buses will not be making another round back to the hotel prior to the ceremony. At the end of the night, shuttles will depart the venue at 10pm and 11pm. There will not be transportation provided after 11pm or before 10pm, so if you plan to leave early please make your own arrangements. Please be sure to book under our room blocks so we can account for you in transportation!

What should I wear?

Answer

We hope everyone has fun dressing up for a night out! Please wear what makes you comfortable but we’d love to see you get into the vibe with us-- garden party vibes are perfect! We love all spring colors!! Comfortable shoes are recommended as the ceremony will be outdoors in the lawn. A light sweater or jacket is also encouraged! What happens if it rains?

Answer

Our ceremony will move indoors at the Salamander. Please check the weather in advance and plan your dress accordingly. We would love to be outdoors for ceremony and cocktail hour but understand we can't control the weather!

Where can I stay?

Answer

We have two room blocks. One at Salamander Middleburg, where the wedding weekend festivities will be, and one at Home2 Suites in Dulles/Chantilly. You can find both links for the room blocks on our Travel tab. Please be sure to book by March 25th as the room blocks do expire after that!

Is there parking available if I decide to drive?

Answer

Yes! The parking lot is a short walk away from the ceremony. There is also Valet available.

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes, there will be an open bar.

Can I take photos of your wedding?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged ceremony. We kindly ask that you refrain from bringing out your phone at the ceremony. Feel free to take photos the rest of the night but, please be mindful of our professional photographers & avoid being in their shots with your phone.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, we are happy to accommodate most food allergies and dietary restrictions! Please ensure you let us know in advance by answering the question listed as you RSVP on our website. Please be as specific as possible.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to venue capacities, we have carefully selected plus ones. If your invitation does not state a guest, then we ask that you RSVP for one. If you are unsure if your invitation includes a plus one, please reach out to our Planner, kylie@vidaevents.net.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

We would love to have everyone, but due to venue capacities, we've addressed each invite to the invitees. Your invitation will specifically be addressed to whom is invited. If you are unsure if your invitation includes your kids, please reach out to our Planner, kylie@vidaevents.net.

How & When do I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP on our website no later than March 10th. We want each and every one of you to be there, but any RSVPs after that date may not be able to be accommodated.
