So this is love

We met on OkCupid and talked for a few weeks before we met in person. It seemed like we talked about everything, including all of the important subjects that are so difficult to discuss at the beginning of a relationship. I was living in Portland at the time and Nate was in Eugene. We went out to lunch in Eugene for our first date and completely hit it off. I moved back to Eugene about a month later, and the rest is history!

Nate had just gotten back from SLC and we decided to go to one of our favorite hotels for a night before we had to go back to school for the term. We were sitting outside by the fire talking about our future plans and he took the ring out of his pocket that he had been carrying in a small perfume jar that had been his grandmother's. Though I think he asked me by saying "so would you", I still said yes and we can't wait!
