FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 20th.

Question

What is the agenda?

Answer

2:30 – 3:00 Arrive at Chapel by the Sea 3:00 – 3:30 Wedding Ceremony 4:30 – 6:30 Sunset Cruise on 'Lady Chadwick' 6:30 – 7:00 Arrive at Old Captiva House 7:00 – 10:00 Dinner and Reception

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 3PM, so we recommend arriving at 2:30PM to give yourself time to park, get settled, and find a seat.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, the dress code is semi-formal, but we want you to feel comfortable—especially with it being Florida in November (who knows what the weather will do!). We’ll also be on a boat for part of the reception, so keep that in mind when choosing your shoes or outfit. Feel free to have fun with it—we’d love to see pops of color too!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If your invitation includes a plus-one, they'll be listed on your RSVP. We wish we could invite everyone!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Check out the travel tab for the full recommendations, but I would highly suggest staying at 'Tween Waters just due to convenience.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes PLEASE let us know and we will accommodate you!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is parking available for both the ceremony and the reception. That said, we’d recommend carpooling if you can—just to help leave spots open for others. The chapel and the boat are only about a 4-minute drive apart, so it’s super easy to ride together!
