We met at culinary school in Cambridge, Massachusetts. We sat next to each other in the back row of our first class - Knife Skills I. Our Chef Instructor was going through our knife kit by explaining each tool and its function. Suddenly, Mike cut himself on his brand new, sharp knife and had to get bandaged up. The entire class chuckled because he was the first one to cut himself - poor Mike! Outside of culinary school we quickly got to know each other on our daily walks along the Charles River from Cambridge to Allston - about a 3 mile walk! We eventually worked together in a tiny kitchen at Ten Tables in Cambridge. Today, we no longer work side by side in a professional kitchen, but our love for food continues to grow and will always hold a special place in our hearts.
