visit the Visitor & Education Center of Fort Monroe! There is so much history behind the peninsula, including ours! this is where we first stumbled across each other without knowing what was to come.
Musasi Japanese Restaurant
Have a craving for seafood? I can eat sushi every day of the year if i was allowed to! FUN FACT! Did you know after two months of talking over Facetime, Luis drove 4 hours to JMU just to take me to dinner and meet in person for the first official time? Technically even though he asked me out after dinner (I was accidentally friend-zoning him the entire months beforehand), we had sushi that night as our first date!
Tanpopo Ramen
one of our favorite restaurants that we frequently went on dates to, was this cute little ramen shop! We were going here when the restaurant was a size of a closet.
Huntington Park
This is where Luis popped down on his knee and proposed! The water may be still too cold this weekend, but theres amazing views; a museum; fishing peir; and a restaurant right on the water! fun fact as well i worked here and my favorite thing on the menu was the Oyster Rockafellar!
