Lisa and Lindsey grew up in towns just twenty-minutes from one another. We both came from similar family backgrounds, with multiple older siblings and two loving parents, who served as the ultimate example of love and commitment to one another. Unbeknownst to us at the time, we actually grew up in some of the same sports circles, and we both spent endless hours outdoors pitching and catching the softball with our dad's when we were younger. Which is why...when we met in a History class at USC-Aiken in 2014, (Lindsey as a History major, and Lisa as an Education Major), we should not have been surprised to learn that we both shared a love of athletics, education, and family. Conveniently, our history professor paired us for a group project in November of 2014, and well, the rest was... history. Group project meetings morphed into a convenient exchange of phone numbers and later to “meetings” around campus, at basketball games, at Groucho’s Deli, and in December of 2014, under the Christmas lights at Hopeland Gardens, which upon reflection, we both agree, was our first date. Nine years, three cities, two fur babies, and one home procurement later, we have finallllllllly set a date, and we are getting married! We cannot wait to celebrate our wedding with all of you, and we are delighted that you have chosen to be present as witnesses to our lifelong commitment to one another!
