It all began with a craving for Lobster Mac n Cheese. Kevin was aware that suggesting a drive to Greenport for this delectable dish, considering Cape May was too distant, would easily entice Lindsey for another of their cherished day trips to the North Fork. En route to Greenport, Lindsey proposed a pit stop at their beloved vineyard, Croteaux, on their way back. Little did she suspect that Kevin had already arranged for this. He had a photographer poised to capture the moment. As they approached the vineyard, the car radio serendipitously played "Us Someday" by Thomas Rhett. This song held a special place in their hearts, especially with its poignant opening line, "I do with a ring on her hand." A few minutes later, Kevin knelt down, and the rest, as they say, is history. Unbeknownst to the Cheniceks, they were about to welcome two new members into their family. While Kevin asked Lindsey to join the Chenicek clan, his brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Charlene, joyously introduced Dawson Edward, an adorable addition to the Chenicek family. July 26th is a day etched in their memories forever.
