They met on match.com, after Ken had recently moved to the Kansas City area and Lindsey was just about to cancel her subscription. Conversation flowed easily, and they decided to meet at Bar Louie on August 10 for the last first date either would ever have. The chemistry was undeniable and effortless, and that date became a second and naturally flowed into falling in love, meeting their kids, buying a house together, getting engaged, and becoming a family. Two life paths merged at the right moment to form the single path of love and happiness they both have always deserved. As Mikey would put it, "we are a family that wasn't a family, but decided to be a family."  

Due to Covid, Lindsey and Ken were married in an intimate ceremony by a woman of the cloth (her sister) at the Chateau on the Lake on June 28, 2020. They are excited to finally have the opportunity to share their excitement and happiness with their family and friends. A lot has changed in two years, the biggest change being their baby boy, Tristan! They hope everyone can join them the weekend of June 26th for a fun time at the lake for a vow renewal and a dance party two years in the making!
