Question

Where is the venue, but more importantly, where do I park?

Answer

We call Lexington our forever home, it is where our families are and where all of our memories began. Harper Hall is located in the heart of Lexington! Close to the bar complex and many hotels for accommodations. It is located right where N Upper meets Second Street. There is a pay-to-park lot directly across from the venue, but also many other street and parking structure options surrounding (Proof Fitness, The Square, Marriott, etc.). As we will have an open bar, we recommend Ubering to the venue so you can enjoy the evening!

Question

Is the venue handicap accessible?

Answer

Absolutely! There is a ramp to enter the building and once you are in, there is a full service elevator to take you up and down floors. Bathrooms are located on both floors as well!

Question

I’m an out of towner… where will I sleep?

Answer

Downtown Lexington offers many accommodations, but we recommend the Sire Hotel (a Hilton Hotel) which is located directly across the street from the venue. Other accommodations nearby include the Hilton, the Marriott located in The City Center, and 21c.

Question

When will the ceremony begin and reception end?

Answer

The ceremony will start at the half hour of 4:30 PM (a southern tradition). Following the ceremony will be an hour (give or take) of cocktails and mingling while the family takes pictures. The reception will begin at 5:30 PM and at around 10 PM, we will say our farewells with a send off just outside of the venue.

Question

Am I permitted to bring a guest?

Answer

Our wedding day is going to be one of the most special days spent with our nearest and dearest family and friends. Due to venue capacity limits, only the names written on the formal invitation are permitted to the ceremony and reception. We hope you understand and have a fun time with us! As for children, we are only able to accommodate children in the family. We appreciate your understanding!

Question

What the heck do I wear?!

Answer

We hope everyone comes comfy and ready to party! We request semi formal attire and comfortable dancing shoes to cut a rug! While there is no formal dress code, feel free to get yourself all done up and prepared for a night of lots of pictures and fun.

Question
