Jon and Lindsey met at a Georgetown College basketball game in the spring of 2014. This was the first time their paths had crossed, but by the end of the game, Lindsey nervously invited him to the volleyball luau later on that evening. By the end of the night, he asked for her phone number and the rest was history. After graduation, Jon pursued a career in education and strength and conditioning while Lindsey attended graduate school to obtain her master’s in speech pathology. This required 3+ years of long distance and lots of weekend trips back and forth to see each other. In 2019, they settled in Louisville together with their pup, Mac. Jon (finally) proposed in January of 2023- you’ll have to ask him to tell the story LOL. Now, they can't wait to celebrate their love with all of their favorite people on June 15th. See you there!
