We met in the summer of 2014. We were both running in the same social circles in Richmond, as I lived downtown on Monument and his friends lived downtown as well. We both went back to school in the fall, but kept in touch, and went on our first date at Kona Grill during winter break. We started dating soon after that, graduated college, and both moved to Richmond! I started my career as a nurse at Henrico Doctors and Jake started his career in sales. We loved (and still love) living in Richmond, being close to our families, and spending time with friends. Last Christmas, I surprised Jake with our beautiful four-legged friend, Millie. He fell in love instantly (and obviously I did too), and we could not be happier.

On October 19th, Jake asked me to marry him. I was coming back home from brunch and as I walked in the door, he got down on one knee. I was so happy and thrilled to officially start our lives together. After Jake proposed, we drove out to his parents house and had a huge celebration with all our family and friends, which was the best day I could have ever imagined. We can't wait to get married on May 1, 2021 and celebrate with all of you!
