Bridesmaid
If you can't tell from the photo, Charley and I have been inseparable since we were little. There was a time she lived in Ohio, but we don't speak of that now that she is back in Tennessee. She is my go-to chef, artist, travel companion, fellow only child and sister. I can't wait to share this exciting day with her by my side.
Bridesmaid
Anna is my oldest friend. We've been best friends since we were two, as we "found" each other in our first dance class. Our genealogy records confirm that our family tree shared some important leaves long ago, so we claim kinship as well. We have shared far too many sleepovers, beach trips, dance competitions, recitals, graduations, and meals to ever keep count. It was only natural that this bestie join me on August 1 for my journey down the aisle.
Bridesmaid
Emma Kate and I have been friends since eighth grade when we rode the BGA bus back and forth to Franklin from Columbia. It has been easy to maintain our close friendship because after college, we both decided to move back to Nashville, and thankfully only lived two miles apart! Emma Kate has made the big city of Nashville feel a little smaller the last three years!
Bridesmaid
Mary Shea is Horace's little sister. We don't have the long term friendship that I share with my other attendants but as soon as we met, we were instant friends. Mary Shea and I are both September babies, we share a love of dogs, the beach, Aldi's and endless laughter. She's the life of the party and I am thrilled to have her as a new "sister."
Bridesmaid
Shelbie is one of the most patient people I know. Not only has she lived with me for two years, but at one point, we lived and worked together. That takes skill! I couldn't think of a better friend or roommate. Shelbie is such an important player in this game, as she was instrumental in helping Horace plan all the details of his proposal and is the best secret keeper I have ever known.
Bridesmaid
Eliza and I go way back...like before we were born. Our families have kept such a strong generational friendship, that Eliza and I had no choice but to become friends. Really, Eliza is more like family and is the little sister I never had. I couldn't imagine celebrating on August 1 without her support and all around awesomeness.
Best Man
Big Horace has been Little Horace's best friend since he was born 27 years ago (except maybe for a few brief periods during Little Horace's teenage and college years, but he probably deserved the trouble he was in). Always the best mentor, teacher, and role model, Big Horace is the best man Little Horace knows.
Groomsman
Horace has known Will all his life, but they first became friends at Deer Camp in Columbia when they were very young. Although they have very rarely lived in the same city, Will and Horace have consistently managed to get each other in trouble through the years.
Groomsman
Horace and Woodcock quickly became friends their freshman year at TCU, and were roommates for their junior, senior, and second senior years. During this time, they had plenty of good times and occasionally found time for school.
Groomsman
Horace and Ambrose lived down the hall from each other their freshman year at TCU. During that year they helped each other get through the trials of pledgeship, and have been good friends ever since.
Groomsman
Tim and Horace met Horace's freshman year at TCU, where Tim was a sophomore member of FIJI while Horace was pledging. Horace and Tim, along with Daniel, were roommates for Horace's Junior year at TCU, and have remained good friends ever since.
Groomsman
Calum and Horace met sophomore year at TCU, where they quickly became friends over Thursday night pitchers at Dutches. Despite living on opposite sides of the country after graduation, they have been able to remain good friends since.
Ring Bearer
Walker is Horace's younger cousin, and although small in stature, he is ALWAYS the life of the party. We're thrilled he can make the trip from New Orleans to be a part of our special day!
Flower Girl
On August 5, 1989, 31 years ago, Eleanor’s mama (Anne Taylor Tipton Manning) was Big Horace and Anne's flower girl at their wedding in Savannah, Georgia. Horace and Lindsey are thrilled to have Eleanor be a part of their wedding, wearing the very same dress that her mama did when she was a flower girl!
Honorary Flower Girl
Harper is the newest (and by most accounts, cutest) member of Lindsey's family. Coming all the way from Washington D.C., Horace and Lindsey are overjoyed to have her be a part of their wedding.
Honorary Flower Girl
The youngest member of the wedding party, Dottie is Horace's youngest cousin. Born only two days before Horace and Lindsey got engaged, we're excited for her to be a part of our wedding to help welcome Lindsey as the newest member of the Tipton Family.
