Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The time on the invitation is 5:30 pm. We ask you to arrive at least 15 minutes early to grab a seat. Please make sure you are seated before the start time of the ceremony.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

March 20, 2024. In the case of no RSVP by this date you will be marked as unable to attend. We must give an accurate headcount to our vendors to ensure the correct amount of food, alcohol, and seats are purchased.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list as our venue is maxed out on number of guest. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal or Cocktail Attire; Ladies: cocktail dress or dressy separates. Gentleman: suit and tie or dress pants with a sports coat/nice button down. Guest help bring the ambiance of a wedding and our goal is to fit the season of spring with our April wedding. We would prefer you to not wear dark colors, think pastels and florals. We can't wait to see what you all show up in!

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Although we love your children so much, this will be an adults +18 party only. We have maxed out the venue with guest and even a tiny one won't fit. Please use our wedding as a date night opportunity with your significant other. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

We want our wedding ceremony to be as intimate as possible with our favorite people there. Our photographer will handle all the ceremony photos and we prefer your phone not to be in them. We will be happy to send you pictures after we receive them from our photographer!

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes! There will be ample parking for you right outside the venue. If you have a little too much fun with us and need an uber to exit (preferred) your vehicle MUST be out of the venue parking lot by 7:30AM the following morning (4/28).

What if I RSVP 'Yes,' but last minute can't make it?

Answer

If you RSVP 'Yes' and can’t make it after the RSVP cutoff date, please contact our planner. If for any reason you are hesitant on making it to our special day RSVP 'no' by the cutoff date listed on the invitation to ensure an accurate guest count for our vendors. Thank you!

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Ceremony: Outdoors overlooking the lake. Cocktail hour: Outside of the reception hall. Reception Dinner: Inside the reception hall. Reception Dance: Indoor/Outdoor. The ceremony area and the reception dance both have turf so walking in heels is not a problem as you will not sink into the turf. If you are still hesitant, please wear flats or wedges. The path to the reception hall is compacted gravel.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The average temperature in Conroe in April for a typical day ranges from a high of 81°F to a low of 59°F. Some would describe it as pleasantly warm with a gentle breeze. In Conroe in April, there's a 29% chance of rain on an average day. In more common terms of how much that is, some would describe it as light rain. Rain or shine we cannot wait to see you there! If it rains accommodations will be made to the locations.

What will your wedding-day timeline look like?

Answer

The ceremony will last approximately 30 minutes. The cocktail hour will last 1 hour. Reception will follow ending at strictly at 11:00pm. You will be wining and dining with us all night and we would love for you to join our send off at the conclusion of the reception at 11:00pm. There is an option to only attend the Ceremony if you have other obligations but would like to witness our marriage - please fill out the RSVP accordingly.

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

We'll be serving light passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, followed by a buffet style dinner and dessert. Legally you are not allowed to bring outside alcohol to this event, but don't fret as there will be an open bar with many options for you.
