Welcome Party Info:
Answer
The Welcome Party, hosted by Ginny & Jim Goonan, will be a sunset boat cruise! Enjoy a scenic cruise featuring a variety of small bites & cocktails while we cruise along the calm inland waters of the Manasquan River, Point Pleasant Canal & Barnegat Bay. The boat is equipped with both indoor and outdoor spaces, but please dress appropriately based on the weather! TIMING: Please arrive between 4:30-4:45. The boat will leave at 5pm and return at 8pm ADDRESS: The River Queen / Bogan’s Brielle Basin 800 Ashley Avenue, Brielle NJ PARKING: There will be parking available, but we recommend Uber/Lyft as well! DRESS ATTIRE: To get in the festive spirit, this will be a white party! Men- think white button down/polo & khakis/linen pants/etc. Women - think white sundress or set! The Wedding Day, hosted by Heather & Bruce, will take place at the Medd residence! TIMING: Please arrive between 4:00-4:15pm. The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30pm, immediately followed by our cocktail hour and reception ADDRESS: 936 Barnegat Ln, Mantoloking NJ PARKING: There will be no parking available, so we recommend Uber/Lyft. If you wish to drive, there is street parking on Bergen Ave (no parking on Barnegat Ln) DRESS ATTIRE: Semi-Formal/Cocktail See below for more answers to commonly asked questions regarding our ceremony & reception!

Is there a dress code?
Answer
There is no dress code for the wedding, but if you need some inspiration, check out our Attire Inspo page! - Men: Suit (no tie) recommended - Women: cocktail/midi/maxi dresses or jumpsuits. Please note: there will be gravel and grass areas, so stilettos are not recommended. The Boat Welcome Party is a white party so pleas wear your whites!

Will we be outdoors?
Answer
Yes! Our whole wedding will be outdoors, so please keep an eye on the weather to dress accordingly!

Is it a sit down dinner?
Answer
We've decided to have curated farm to table dining experience instead of a formal sit down! Lots of yummy food will be passed the entire night, forgoing the formality of a seated dinner. There will still be some seating, but we hope our guests will mingle and dance the whole night!

Is there parking at the venue?
Answer
There is NO parking available for the ceremony and reception. There is no street parking on Barnegat Ln, so Uber is highly recommended. If you are driving, you can find street parking on Bergan Ave.

Can I bring a date?

Unless specified on the invitation, we cannot accommodate additional guests. Thanks for your understanding!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
There is not, but the welcome party & wedding venue are both near our recommended hotels. Ubers/Lyfts are readily available, please just be sure to call/schedule in advance!

Is there an after party?
Answer
We are not having a formal after party, but if you wish to keep the party going head 5 minutes south to Used to Be's, a fun local bar with live music!

Do I need to rent a car?
Answer
No; Ubers & Lyfts are almost always available. However, please note that the airport is about an hour away from the beach.
