What is your wedding theme?

Answer

Think Hobbiton in Autumn! If you've never watched the Lord of the Rings movies, we recommend viewing at least the first movie, Fellowship of the Rings. Evan and Lindsey are huge nerds and have a deep love of the works by J.R.R Tolkien and wanted to celebrate their day by paying homage to one of their favorite parts of the books and movies.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! The dress code is semi-formal wear. Since North Carolina is known for warm days and potentially cold nights in autumn, please bring layers if the weather predicts an evening chill.

Your wedding is on Halloween! Should I wear a costume?

Answer

Yes, our wedding does occur on Halloween, but it's not a Halloween-themed event! Please follow our semi-formal dress code for at least the ceremony. However, feel free to bring a change of clothes/costume to wear during the reception if you'd like!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! Please inform us of your allergy when you RSVP, so we can give proper notice to our caterer and plan an alternative.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Our venue will host both the ceremony and reception, and parking is on site.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Please view the Travel tab on our website to view some of our recommended hotels that are both rated well and close to the venue.
