We first met in 2019, not long after Lindsey moved home from San Diego. She walked into Pete’s Restaurant & Brewhouse in El Dorado Hills for a job interview, and as fate would have it, Ethan was the one who walked her back to meet the manager. Once Lindsey got the job, we found ourselves scheduled for many of the same shifts. Our group of coworkers would often hang out after work, and it didn’t take long for Ethan to make it known he was interested. Lindsey, however, wasn’t so quick to say yes to anything beyond friendship. That all changed one night after a late shift, sitting in Ethan’s car. Ethan looked to Lindsey and said, “What if we ended up getting married one day? Are you sure you don’t want to give us a chance?” And from there—the rest is history. We started dating a few months later, right before the world shut down for COVID. Like many couples during that time, we moved in together quickly, spending lockdown side by side. We eventually found our own place in Sacramento, where we truly started building a life together. Two cats, countless memories, and almost six years later, Ethan got down on one knee. We couldn’t be more excited to celebrate this next chapter with our favorite people and share our big day with all of you!
