This is the closest beach to downtown Petoskey. We suggest laying your towel out up in the sand dunes!

Petoskey State Park

The Petoskey pier is a perfect place to swim, eat ice cream, and watch the sun set (with a front row view). It's about a 15 minute walk from downtown Petoskey.

Petoskey Pier Breakwall

Another perfect place to watch the sun set, and it's right in downtown Petoskey. Lindsey and her family love this spot :)

This is Eric and his dad's favorite golf spot. It's a 20 minute drive from Petoskey.

If you prefer to focus on your short game, this is the best putt putt spot around!

Kilwin's Chocolates of Petoskey

And if we're not at Kilwin's, we're at Murdick's. It's another great ice cream parlor!

This is the ice cream and chocolate mothership of Petoskey. They offer free chocolate tours (and samples)!

It's a beautiful winery, and in our opinion, they make especially great sangria :)

Petoskey has great paths along the water. We all love them.

Running, biking, or walking paths

The ferries to Mackinac Island are about 50 minutes away from Petoskey, and the ferries take only about 20 minutes in total. It's an awesome day trip... if you don't mind the smell of horses. :)

This is the nearest Casino. If you're staying at the Odawa Hotel, there's a free shuttle that will take you there.

A quieter, beautiful beach that's about 50 minutes from Petoskey.

Another cute nearby town. It's just about 20 minutes from Petoskey.

And another cute town nearby! This one is also just about 20 minutes away.

There's a zipline and other summer activities on these ski hills :)

Boyne Highlands

This is where we got engaged! The MI-07 part of the trail is a beautiful hike.
