Numerous times they brushed elbows while growing up in Longmont, never realizing that they would meet and fall in love. In 2017, a close mutual friend of theirs, Grayson passed away. Dylan rode with a small-town bike group that Grayson was a part of. Lindsey knew Grayson from high school but lost touch with him when she went away for college. A month before he passed, Lindsey was fortunate enough to have reconnected and spent some special moments of friendship together. Lindsey felt compelled to know Grayson's friends and went to his funeral determined to meet the bike group he rode with.
