Cody and I met through the dating app Bumble. I reached out to him and we began chatting for a couple of weeks before we went on our first date on August 18, 2021. We met at a local brewery called Torn Label for trivia night. We really hit it off and I kissed him first outside in the street before we left. After this we began hanging out more and more each week as the months went on. Fast forward to October of 2022, he said I love you and I said it back, both of us knowing we had fallen for each other way before that. We moved to our new apartment together in March of 2023 and the rest is history! Cali (my puppy, but now his best girl too, besides me of course) fell in love with him from the beginning. We started talking about marriage more and more while sitting out on our cute little patio when the weather was nice and went together to pick out a ring in September of 2024. Cody proposed to me on December 15, 2024 at Christmas Ranch Tree Farm in Excelsior Springs with a very thoughtfully and sweetly decorated Christmas tree with ornaments spelling "Will you marry me?". It was the most perfect day for both of us and we can't wait to share our wedding day with everyone!
