From Lindsey's View: I would sit next to him in programming and I thought he was cute, and then I realized I had religion class with him (Eternal Families of course) and decided I needed to talk to him. I approached him and awkwardly introduced myself and added him on Facebook. Not knowing how to contact him, I was surprised when he messaged me first. We got along right off the bat and the next week on Valentines day he bought me lunch and later surprised me by bringing me a Kit Kat. All I wanted to do was talk to him, and that weekend I convinced him to ask me on a date. The next day he told someone we were dating, and I was shocked. He forgot to ask me, but he did remember to propose. From Charles' View: While focusing on my academics in my religion class, a girl walked up to me and asked me to add her on Facebook. I felt weird since no one really does that out of the blue but I added her. I believed she didn’t have any friends in school. Now, we became best friends and love each other. Never thought I would go so far in a relationship.
From Lindsey's View: We went to Saint George for Christmas break, and he already let it slip that he was going to propose. Christmas Eve he mentioned he wanted to go to the Red Rocks again where we visited before, and that's when I knew I had to look good for Christmas. Right after dinner he took Brooke and I to the Red Rocks. It started to rain and the rocks were slippery. We took some pictures and he pulled out a Kit Kat like when we first met. He knelt down and asked me to marry him, with a perfect view of the temple we will be sealed in. I said yes! The ring was so sparkly and he made me pull him up off his knee. It was the best Christmas present I could have wished for.
