~Sister of the Bride~ Courtney is the younger sister, but someone Lindsey has always looked up to. Courtney is definitely the most "girly" sister and has given Lindsey some makeup advice at least once or twice. Lindsey will always remember the great family vacations in the back seat of the Mini Van for 15+ hours traveling to Florida or Myrtle Beach with endless amount of snacks, fighting over the portable DVD player with boogie boards, beach chairs, and sand toys galore in the trunk... Thanks Mom and Dad :). Courtney is very hard working, as she is currently studying for her Doctorate in Nursing (maintaining a 4.0 GPA!!) while also working as a nurse which is something Lindsey admires about her. Despite her busy schedule, she somehow still finds time to have fun. You go girl!

~College Friend~ Carmen met Sid in the Champagne room the first night of pledging their college fraternity and Carmen was instantly determined to 'Americanize' him. Through that pursuit, Carmen has come to realize that Sid is a great friend, a hard worker, an intelligent guy and someone who is always willing to hang out and have a few cold ones. Although Sid wasn't able to move to Boston right after college, Carmen and Sid continued to stay close and had many adventures across the US the past couple of years. Recently their strong bond has brought them back together with Sid purchasing a house in MA. Carmen looks forward to eventually retiring early from the CPA profession and opening up a bar with Sid through the fortune they are sure to amass in speculative crypto investments.

~College Friend~ Ohhhh Theo... Something that was said a lot during those college days :) Theo is the most kind, thoughtful, and caring person but also has a sassy side. Oh, and please do NOT get in the car with her (still love you though). Theo is a very talented singer which is something Lindsey has always admired about her. Lindsey loved watching her perform with Fisher's A cappella group. Theo is always ready to have a fun time which has created many memories for her and Lindsey throughout the years. Thanks for tagging along to those RIT frat parties! Even though Lindsey and Theo live in different states, they have managed to remain best friends as Theo will always drop everything so that they can see each other. She will definitely bring that Greek personality to the wedding!

~College Friend~ Ed was on the same floor of Carmen's College dorm room freshman year. Carmen became friends with Ed initially when they used to play NBA Jam on Ed's PlayStation and soon became very close spending many weekends together getting into mischief at RIT. Ed is a veteran at pledging the same fraternity multiple times and one of the most knowledgeable and intelligent guys Carmen knows. They also teamed up as a dynamic duo to formally 'mentor' one of their fraternity's pledge classes. Although they now live in different states, whenever Ed and Carmen get together nowadays it is like no time has passed at all with good conversation and times easy to come by. Carmen is also big fan of Ed's mother's cooking.

~Postgrad Friend~ It all started when Lindsey wanted to visit Carmen in Boston but she didn't want to drive her old car from Rochester all the way to Boston. So, Carmen Facebook messaged Victoria, who was also going to make the trip to visit her boyfriend Josh (now husband) and asked if Lindsey could tag along. Who knew a 12 hour car ride would lead to such a great friendship!? Victoria is kind hearted, smart, and always willing to start a kitchen dance party. Her main talent is knowing all the words to every Beyonce song (I told you she is a smart girl)! There is only one girl who Lindsey would hike a mountain for with a warm bottle of champagne in her backpack so that Josh could propose to Victoria! Sorry Carmen lost the video :)

~College Friend~ Carmen and Josh were in the same fraternity in college, but didn't become really close friends until after college upon moving in as roommates in Boston as young professionals. Josh and Carmen's interests couldn't be more different (Star Wars vs. Yankees), but somehow it makes for a great friendship. Over the past couple of years Carmen has come to think of Josh as a truly genuine person and great friend. Josh is someone who would literally give the shirt off his back for a friend in need. Although Carmen is still trying to win over a friendship with Josh's dog, some of Carmen's best memories in Boston have been on trips and events planned by Josh.

~Postgrad Friend~ Sam and Lindsey have become close friends through Jake and Carmen. They only met a few years ago but their friendship instantly grew. The turning point in their friendship was when they decided to take a trip to NH and hike 3 mountains in 1 day! All was well when Sam, Jake, Carmen, and Lindsey finally summited the final mountain peak. On their hike back, they realized that something was wrong. Come to find out, they were 6+ miles in the wrong direction... Thank God for Sam's calm and collected spirits because Lindsey and Carmen were sure freaking out! They finally made it home with some intuition and the park rangers help. Lindsey will NEVER forget this moment that she shared with Sam! Despite that one hiccup, Lindsey has always admired Sam's adventurous personality.

~Postgrad Friend~ Jake is a rando from Facebook that Carmen met when looking for a roommate to fill a spot in the apartment he was living in after college. It turned out Jake, as a pretty normal and career oriented guy, was interested in a lot of the same things as Carmen. Jake is obsessed with wrestling and getting sweaty with dudes and will twist you into a pretzel if you ask (or even if you don't ask after a few Seltzers, so watch out). Carmen and Jake were able to become great friends right off the bat as they both have a similar sense of humor and rarely take anything too seriously. Over the years, Jake has never beat Carmen in a game of Catan or Chess so he plays League of Legends to compensate.

~College Friend~ Joelle and Lindsey were freshman roommates at Fisher and they definitely made the best of that first year. From being suite-mates with the RA (you can imagine how that turned out), to the unforgettable RIT bonfire party, to Joelle's mid-day naps on Lindsey's bottom bunk bed, they always had a blast and made many memories together. A few years ago, Joelle pursued her dreams and moved to Denver. Because of this, Lindsey and Joelle do not get the chance to see each other as much but when they do, it is like no time has passed! Joelle is known for giving honest, non-bias, respectable advice no matter the situation. Except for when it comes to the Buffalo Bill's, she definitely has some bias there (Go Bill's)! Joelle, remember that Zubaz's are not part of the wedding attire.

~College Roommate~ Carmen and Matt were paired up randomly to be roommate's freshman year of college. Of all the potential matchups that could have happened at RIT Carmen and Matt were a match made in heaven. They both had similar interests, tastes, ideals and hobbies and made many memories throughout college. Who can forget the time they were videotaped and caught 'borrowing' that expensive computer chair from RIT's computer lab or the infamous fraternity photo day ... Matt was the first of Carmen's close friends to get married and he now lives with his wife in NC. Carmen very much looks forward to his next trip to visit. Hopefully this time Matt won't have to fly out last minute for work, although if he does, Carmen is sure Matt's wife would be willing to take him out on the town again.

~Postgrad Friend~ Shout out to Facebook for bringing Lindsey and Meg together! When Lindsey decided to move to Boston for you guessed it, Carmen, she had to find a roommate. While searching on Facebook, she finally came across Meg and decided to go for it. Thank goodness she did because Lindsey and Meg instantly became best friends. Cheers to the many Capo basement nights when Meg tried to sweet talk the bouncer to let them in the back door so they didn't have to wait in line. Thank you for that! One summer, Meg brought Lindsey to visit her family in Cutler, Maine (literally in the middle of nowhere). Meg showed Lindsey the "Cutler way" which involved lobster fishing, using the outhouse, and drinking Miller Lite. Quite the experience, Meg!

~Brother of the Bride~ Carmen met Brian when he was a little pipsqueak who always wanted to join / interrupt the fun when Carmen and Lindsey were hanging out in high school. Now Brian is Carmen's new brother-to-be and over the years Carmen has seen him grow into the man he is today. It is without question that Brian will follow in both his sister's footsteps and become a great and successful nurse. Now Carmen looks forward to catching up whenever Brian is around and he is welcome to stay at their Boston penthouse at any time (as long as he comes bringing some good chicken wings and Blue Light from NY).

~College Friend~ Kenzie was Lindsey's first college friend. Lindsey complemented Kenzie's eye shadow at a nursing school orientation event and it was history ever since. Lindsey and Kenzie have many similarities. By that I mean, they are literally the same person. They especially share the love of nursing and Lindsey would not have made it through nursing school without Kenzie by her side. Through all of the hard work, they somehow managed to also share many fun memories together. One of Lindsey's favorite memories is when they went to Florida for spring break. From being called the "powerpoint girls" (yes, they studied by the pool), carrying the mattress in the living room at 4am, to breaking Kenzie's phone. They had a blast that week and always create the best memories together!

~Brother of the Groom~ Although Joel is well on his way to growing up and becoming a man, Joel will always be Carmen's younger brother. Some of the best times growing up involved Carmen and Joel playing video games, jumping on the trampoline and swimming in Grandma's pool. Being four years apart, Carmen and Joel were never at the same school at the same time, but Carmen is sure he set a good example for Joel in high-school and college. Maybe too good as Joel seemingly surpassed the master with better grades in both. Hopefully Joel will make it big in his career in Cyber Security as well so he can buy that 'future boat' their parents keep dreaming about.
