We Eloped!

Backstory to the real story: It all started back in the Fall of 2014 at a college party that Brax and Lindsey attended as +1's. Not knowing each other, Brax and Lindsey kept catching eyes and sharing smiles. Then Brax chose Lindsey as his drinking partner for the last round of the night. Both left the party without ever speaking verbally, but with this sense of knowing their paths would eventually cross again. In the following months, Brax would frequent the cafe Lindsey worked at (even though the coffee sucked) just to see her smile, and she would wash the tables around him, even if they were clean. Still, the two were very aware of each other's existence, but never spoke. The orbiting continued as Lindsey studied in Southern California, while Brax lead a documentary in Northern California. Finally, fast forward to the fall of 2015, where the real story begins: Brax mustered up the courage to ask Lindsey on a brunch date, but she had not returned from California just yet. She then invited him to a "Welcome Home" bonfire the following week. Alas, the orbiting stopped and the stars aligned. They ditched Lindsey's bonfire, adventured around town, and replicated Lindsey's all time favorite movie scene from the Titanic on a longboard down a hill by Stout's Applied Arts building. Following that night, they spent the next week in Brax's tiny (but really cool) apartment -- falling in love on the rooftop under UFO's and shooting stars.

Never underestimate the power of ceremony as protest as knowledge source as groundwork as dreaming as faith as rebirth as resistance as eternal love. Brax and Lindsey have experienced lifetimes together in the short time they've shared -- growing, evolving, and supporting each other through every challenge they've faced. Their love is unconditional and constant and infinite.
