When traveling from the US, you will have to fly into Athens before making it to Santorini.

How to get from Athens to Santorini
You will have two ways to get from Athens to Santorini, by ferry or by plane. - The ferry from Athens to Santorini takes 5-8 hrs depending on which ferry you choose. - The flight from Athens to Santorini only takes 45 minutes, and is recommended (especially if you are staying on the island for less than 5 days). Santorini is a small island, so it is not necessary that you stay close to the venue. From our research, most hotels are a 10-20 minute drive to the venue. Santorini has an extensive amount of hotels and villas, so please feel free to pick any nearby option that fits your budget.
