Lindsey and Andre met in 2019 during their Sophomore year at the University of Alabama at a rush event for the co-ed business fraternity Alpha Kappa Psi. Having grown up just 60 miles apart, they finally found each other 800 miles away. Call it God, fate, or luck, they’re grateful for their good fortune. They grew and learned about each other in the following 3 years of school they spent dating - sharing memories of game days, formal dances, and even eventually supporting each other in leadership positions in the organization that brought them together. When it was time to graduate, they both found work in Chicago and moved - just under 300 miles away from home this time. Over the next 2 years, they adjusted to working life together until in 2024, Andre proposed in Traverse City, Michigan. Lindsey said yes, and they returned to Chicago as each others’ Fiances. In those years, they have grown, changed, and shaped each other as they continue building the rest of their lives together with their family and friends.
