Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please navigate to the Travel tab of this website for more information about our hotel block. We have reserved a block of rooms at the Embassy Suites in downtown Austin. If you want any lodging recommendations for other parts of the city, please email us!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We hope you'll break out your snazzy cocktail or garden party attire for our wedding celebration. Since we are getting married at a botanical garden, we do hope to make use of one of the outdoor spaces for our ceremony and maybe even part of our reception (weather permitting). We want you to feel comfortable, so you might want to rethink the stilettos or heavy furs!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please try to arrive at the Wildflower Center by 5:30pm to allow us to start the ceremony promptly at 6pm. You're welcome to explore the beautiful gardens on your own if you get there a little early!

Will I have to travel between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Nope, the ceremony and reception will take place at the same venue, the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center.
