Aaron and Lindsey first met while in high school working at their part-time after school job.
While working together, they had work friends who wanted them to "pretend date" to help them prove a point. Aaron and Lindsey started actually taking some time to get to know each other. One day at work, Aaron asked Lindsey to go play mini-golf, and after many golf balls in the streams and lakes at Copperhead Canyon, the friendship took off as a summer fling began. While they didn't stay together long at the time, a friendship was formed that never stopped.
Life proved to have its ups and downs for both of them; however, they always seemed to be a part of each other's lives. From drive-in movies to going to a wedding together, there were many attempts at "dates" over the years before Aaron and Lindsey both went their separate ways. They both learned that if things are meant to be, they will find a way.
After some major changes in both of their lives, Aaron and Lindsey found themselves talking about many different experiences together. Along the way, they found that the friendship they had formed many years ago, still held true and there maybe was something more.
While celebrating Thanksgiving and Eli's second birthday, they were leaving Magic Kingdom when Aaron asked Lindsey to spend forever with him. Of course, he asked Eli too!
We knew that we did not want to wait to say "I Do," but we still wanted to make sure that we would get to celebrate with everyone when things were settling down due to COVID. We cannot wait to share in our vow renewal and one-year wedding anniversary with everyone this year as restrictions have continued to be lifted.
