The Bad News... If you’re reading this, you have probably opened our updated wedding invitation informing you that we have canceled our destination wedding. It was a very hard decision to make, especially after our initial postponement gave us hope that we might be able to keep our original plans after the CDC’s March announcement of the COVID-19 pandemic. After many tearful conversations and sleepless nights, we decided that the uncertainty of the pandemic’s trajectory in the near future posed too great a threat to the health and safety of our loved ones to take the risk on moving forward as planned. Plus, if we may speak frankly, the looming possibility of having to postpone a second time was too much stress to bear after such an exhausting year. The Good News! Luckily for us, we’re not the kind of people who let little things like pandemics stand in the way of our good time. In lieu of our original plans, we will be holding an outdoor, socially distanced micro-ceremony with our immediate families in Baltimore, Maryland on November 21. While we can’t be with you in person as we tie the knot, we would love for you to join us on Zoom and share this special event with us virtually. It’s not what we planned but for us, our “dream wedding” can be anywhere as long as we are together. I mean—hey—sometimes life throws lemons... its what you DO with those lemons that matters in the end... and as Marylanders, we prefer to crush them, pour in some citris vodka, triple sec, and lemon-lime soda, and cheers to all the good things to come.
