Where it all began

Our love story began when we met in the fall of 2011. We were freshman in high school with no care in the world. We went on many adventures together such as dates, baseball games, family gathers, vacations, dances, and more. All we have gone through together has led us to these precious moments. June 25, 2019 will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Now as we enter this journey to marriage together, we hope you will help by praying and being there for us during this joyous season in our lives. We can't wait for everyone to be apart of our journey to becoming one.

The Proposal

In the summer of 2019, Connor’s baseball team had their World Series in beautiful Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. We spent the week jumping from restaurants, to the baseball fields, activities and back. Our group went to eat dinner at Dick’s Last Resort (the place that makes you wear the crazy hats) which was located at The Island in Pigeon Forge. After a very entertaining evening, I suggested that we all walk out with our hats on. My best friend Kaitlin assured me that it was not the best idea, since some of our hats were not the most appropriate. Still very thankful she didn’t let me leave with that hat on. Anyway.. On our way out to the car, Connor asked me to take a picture in front of the water foundation as it was playing songs and changing colors. Surprised because he NEVER asks me to take pictures, I quickly hurried over. After the picture was taken, I turn around to see Connor on one knee and I felt my heart burst. June 25, 2019, I became engaged to my best friend! Connor actually tried to proses multiple different times during our trip, which I found out later. He attempted to propose at Ruby Fall and Rock City, which were all unsuccessful. His proposal at The Island was perfect, although Zachary had to make him get back down on one knee to put the ring in my finger.

Quotes on love

Ecclesiastes 4:9: “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone?" 1 Corinthians 16:14: “Do everything in love." Psalm 143:8: “Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life."
