Is the wedding inside or outside?

Answer

The ceremony, live band and most events will be outside but there will be indoor spaces available too.

What will the weather be in October in Texas?

Answer

Plan for snow or extreme heat temperatures as well as torrential rain, wind or even hail. Basically look the week before at what the weather will be and even then, pack a sweater just in case.

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Obviously we want people to be comfortable as it’s an outdoor wedding at 5:00, but we also kindly ask you to keep your T shirts and flip flops at home. 😉 Suits. Nice jeans with boots. Cowboy hats. Suspenders. Whatever works for you!

Will there be food?

Answer

Yes! We are planning a full plated meal but as of now, we are making it buffet style.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Beer, cider and wine will be served from some of our favorite places we’ve found over the past 18 months. There will be no liquor served. Tea and water will also be available.

Who’s the band playing at your wedding?

Rosco Johnny! Ashley grew up at church with two of the three members of this “Texas folk group with a shot of country”. One of Lindsey & Ashley’s date nights included a Music on the Lawn series by the AT&T PAC where Linsey fell in love with their sweet, soulful sound. We’re recommending the Lorenzo hotel where a block of rooms has been set aside for guests of the wedding.

Funny you should ask… Just Pick a seat not a side because you’re there for both brides. 😉

Is there assigned seating?

Answer

No but place cards will be available for you to find your name and then claim your own spot with either the people you came with or meet some new friends.

A free valet service will be provided for all our wedding guests.

How does a wedding on a suburban farm work exactly?

Answer

Dance. Eat. Pet goats and pigs. Play backyard games like corn hole and giant Jenga. Make new friends. Mingle. Celebrate!

Can I I bring a plus one?

Answer

In a perfect world, everyone would get a plus-one. We wish we could have unlimited guests without worrying about the location size, food preparation logistics and the overall cost, but the venue and list are intentionally small and intimate. If you need a plus one and we didn’t list a +1 on your invitation, please message us directly ahead of time to see if there is any extra room to accommodate your request.
