Question

What time should I arrive at the venue?

Answer

We recommend arriving at the venue at 3:30pm. Doors to the venue will open at 3:30pm, and the Ceremony will start promptly at 4pm.

Is there parking for the ceremony/ reception?

Answer

There is parking for the ceremony/reception, however, we highly recommend ride-sharing or carpooling! Camino Real Ranch has parking spaces for 60 guest vehicles, and we are expecting about 120 guests. Guests may leave cars overnight in the parking lot, so long as they are picked up by 10am the next morning.

Planning on using Uber/Lyft?

Answer

If you plan on using a Rideshare app for your transportation after the reception, we recommend scheduling a pick-up time at around 10:15pm. The venue is located 30 minutes outside of downtown Austin, so it may take some time for rideshare vehicles to arrive. Send-off is approximately 10pm.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The attire for our wedding is Semi-formal. If you would like to dress to the vibe of the event, our wedding colors are soft earth-tones, terracottas and natural greenery.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors (weather permitting) and the reception will be indoors.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The average temperature in Austin in November ranges from a high of 72°F to a low of 50°F. We recommend checking the Austin forecast the week-of to plan your attire accordingly.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! We will have a spot to list food restrictions/allergies when you RSVP for the event.

Can I bring a plus one? Are my children welcome?

Answer

Each guest that is invited will be listed on your invite and online RSVP. While we cannot guarantee additional plus ones (outside of what is listed on your invite), please don't hesitate to reach out to Lindsey or Joel, as we may be able to accommodate closer to the event date as we receive final headcount.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We will also be hosting a Welcome Party on Friday and a Goodbye Brunch on Sunday for all guests. These events are entirely optional but open to all! Please visit the 'Schedule' tab for more information.
