FAQs

Question

Will there be a wedding ceremony?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will take place in the breathtaking highlands of Scotland on March 27, 2026. We’ve chosen to exchange our vows privately, just the two of us, surrounded by the beauty and stillness of nature. After we return, we’ll celebrate our marriage with our close family at a small reception on June 28, 2026. We can’t wait to share the joy of our love and adventure with you then!

Question

Where will the reception be held?

Answer

Our reception will take place at Union 212, a beautifully restored 1875 church in the heart of downtown Milford. Once a historic chapel, it’s now a banquet venue and Masonic lodge. Its warm charm and timeless character make it the perfect place to gather and toast to love! Union 212 212 Union Street Milford, MI 48381

Question

What is the start and end time of the reception?

Answer

The celebration kicks off at 10:30am and wraps up around 2:30pm. We can’t wait to share an afternoon filled with laughter, love, and lots of bubbly with you!

Question

Will there be parking available?

Answer

Yes! There’s a small parking lot on the right-hand side of Union 212 that fits about 16 vehicles. If the lot is full, don’t worry! There’s plenty of street parking available right in front of the building and along the block.

Question

What kind of meal will be served?

Answer

We’ll be treating our guests to a delicious brunch buffet, complete with a made-to-order omelet station, breakfast potatoes, savory sausage links, homemade pastries, and fresh seasonal fruit. Coffee, tea, and assorted juices will be flowing — and of course, we’ll finish with dessert after the cake cutting!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We’ll be celebrating with an open Mimosa & Bloody Mary bar, so raise a glass (or two… or five)! The bar will be open from 10:30am to 2:00pm.

Question

What is the Dress Code?

Answer

Dress to impress in daytime semi-formal attire! Think summer sophistication with a relaxed twist, perfect for a cheerful June brunch celebration. For women, light cocktail-length dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or elegant separates in soft summer hues are perfect. For men, lightweight suits or slacks with a sport coat or blazer fit the vibe. Ties are optional but always welcome! Polished, breathable, and ready to celebrate — that’s the look!

Question
