It's happening!

Paul and I are High School sweethearts. We met our Junior year at J.W Sexton High School in Lansing. In fact, we will have celebrated 12 years together just two days before we are married. In those 12 years Paul and I have experienced so much much together. Everything from senior prom and high school graduation, to welcoming our daughter into the world. Thank you for joining us as we welcome this next chapter of our lives. We look forward to sharing this adventure with you.

The proposal didn't go as planned, but was still magical. Hailey was 6 months old and this was the first time we had gone out just the two of us since she was born. Paul wanted to pop the question at my favorite place in town, the ledge looking over the river at Frances Park. All you Lansing natives know how how beautiful and picturesque this place is. Unfortunately, it was cold and rainy that day. So Paul and I went to our favorite restaurant, Piazzano's. Piazzano's was our spot. We went there all the time. Every pair of eyes was on us when he got down on one knee. I'll never forget the applause, but what's really burned into my memory is the way Paul's eyes lit up when I said yes.
