What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM. Please plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to the start time.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you please arrange for your own transportation to/from the event. Please note that Uber/Lyft availability may be limited.

Where is Loblolly Rise Plantation located?

Answer

Loblolly Rise is located midway between Tallahassee, FL and Thomasville, GA on U.S. Highway 319. If you are traveling from Tallahassee, the venue will be on the left side of the highway just after you cross the Georgia state line. You will need to go past the entrance and make a U-turn to access it. It sits off of the road out of sight, so be on the lookout for the sign to show you where to turn in.

Is there a dress code?

Cocktail attire - We would love to see our friends and family get dressed up for our big day!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Free parking is available at Loblolly Rise Plantation where both the ceremony and reception will be held.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

All invited guests will be listed on the formal invitation. If your invite is addressed to you "and guest", you are welcome to bring a date.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love all of your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration! The only exception is the children in our immediate families. We hope you take this opportunity to treat our wedding day as a date night or a night to relax and enjoy, and we appreciate you making arrangements for your children prior to celebrating with us.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both! Our venue is an indoor/outdoor concept. Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors. The reception will be held under the covered Loblolly Rise Barn.

Will there be food and drinks served?

Answer

Yes, come ready to eat and party! Light hors d'oeuvres will be served during cocktail hour and a full station-style dinner will follow at the reception. An open bar will be available during both of these events.
