We're getting married!

It was the 2021 spring semester at Kent State University where our love flourished. A trip to our favorite spot with friends turned into a lifetime of happiness. We are forever grateful for our favorite little college town. Fast forward to December of 2021, Lindsay graduated and started teaching locally in the Kent area. Tripp continued his degree in Construction Management and graduated in August of 2022. They enjoyed making memories and soon decided it was time to pack up and move to Tripp’s hometown, bright and warm sunny FL! Starting in August of 2022 we rented our first apartment together in Venice, FL. We became settled in the area and both found jobs that we absolutely enjoy! At this moment we knew we were exactly where we should be. We continued to grow our life together and fell more in love each day. Doing all the things we love from watching sunsets together, boat days, fishing, and hanging out with friends, time has flown by. We currently have been living in Florida for 4 years together.

It was a warm Friday in August where Tripp decided we should go to one of our favorite spots for date night. Lindsay came home and got ready as she always would for a fun night at The Point. Tripp said we had a reservation around 8:30 so we could have a perfect view of sunset. We were ready early, so Tripp suggested we head there so we could “check out the boat docks” because we always talked about boating to this specific dinner location. Lindsay did not ask one question and thought that was a perfect idea…. little did she know…. We walked down to the docks and the sunset was peaking through the clouds. It was beautiful! Tripp then asked the question and it was no surprise Lindsay said YES. We celebrated with a romantic dinner and family and friends over the weekend! It was the most perfect weekend to say the least!
