Garden of the Gods
Garden of the Gods has a lot of beautiful views and rock formations. The inner paved trails are easily accessible and great for families. The outer gravel trails take you to some more adventurous areas. Watch for horse poo!
Manitou Incline
For those of you who are looking for a workout, we dare you to try the famous Manitou Incline. 2,744 steps to the top. Bring water and a sweat towel!
Hiking at North Cheyenne Cañon Park
If you are looking to get into nature with some friendlier terrain than the incline, explore the North Cheyenne Canon Park. We especially like the Helen Hunt Falls loop.
Cheyenne Mountain Zoo
Take a moment to meet some friendly animals at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.
Fossil Craft Beer Company
We always hit up the best breweries in each town we visit. We scoped them out for you and Fossil Craft is one of our favorites in this area. They have a dinosaur/fossil themed atmosphere with some great vibes and tasty brews on tap.
Margo's Vienna Station
You know Lindsay loves her hot dogs. Margo's Vienna Station is small but mighty. Stop by for a tasty glizzy and an iced cold coke in honor of the bride!
The Donut Mill
Sean loves his donuts almost as much as Lindsay loves her hot dogs. Wake up early and head to Woodland Park - just a few miles up the road - to get a fresh donut from the Donut Mill. You won't regret it. They also have sausage kolaches!
Cripple Creek
Up the windy pass to Cripple Creek you'll find some amazing views and a great way to spend an afternoon. Try your luck at some of Colorado's oldest casinos.
