Will there be transportation to the Rehearsal Dinner at the Rickhouse?

Answer

Shuttles will depart the Washington Duke at 5:10PM and will then stop by the JB Duke at 5:15PM. Please meet the bus outside of the hotel a few minutes prior to departure. Anyone driving can use the following link to find parking options: https://www.rickhousedurham.com/parking

Will there be transportation to and from the Welcome Party at the Rickhouse?

Answer

Shuttles will depart the Washington Duke at 8:10PM and will then stop by the JB Duke at 8:15PM. Please meet the bus outside of the hotel a few minutes prior to departure. The downtown hotels are within walking distance to the venue. If you prefer, feel free to enjoy dinner out in Durham then meet us at the venue! Please visit our "Things To Do" tab for some of our favorite restaurant recommendations. Shuttles will take return trips to the JB Duke and Washington Duke Hotels at 9:30PM, 10:00PM, and at the conclusion of the event. What is the attire for the Rehearsal Dinner and Welcome Party?

Answer

These events are cocktail attire! For men, a blazer or a suit works well - tie is optional.

Are the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

Yes! Everything will be held at the Carolina Grove venue.

Will you provide transportation to the Carolina Grove?

Answer

Yes! Shuttles will depart the Marriott Hotel (for Marriott and 21c guests), JB Duke Hotel, and Washington Duke Hotel at 4:00pm. Please meet the shuttle outside of the hotel a few minutes prior to departure.

What is the attire for the wedding?

The wedding is Black-Tie attire! Women: Floor-length Dresses or Gowns Men: Tuxes are preferred
