Things To Do

We are so excited you're going to visit Austin! Here are a few things to do while you're in town.
The Rainey Street Historic District

The Rainey Street Historic District

Rainey Street, Austin, TX 78702

The Rainey Street Historic District is a street of homes converted into bars and restaurants. Grab a beer, hang out in a lawn chair, and play cornhole. If you get hungry, there is a food truck for everyone. Plan on hanging out here after the reception Saturday night!

South Congress Avenue

South Congress Avenue

South Congress Avenue, Austin, TX

Take a stroll down South Congress to enjoy the eclectic boutiques and eateries. We recommend Uncommon Objects, Limbo Jewelry, Guero's Taco Bar, Home Slice, Magnolia Cafe, and the South Congress Hotel Bar. Make your way to the Congress Bridge at dusk to see the bats fly!

Zilker Metropolitan Park

2100 Barton Springs Road, Austin, TX 78746
, (512) 974-6700

Want some fresh air? Go by Zilker Park for a picnic, take a stroll around Lady Bird Lake, or go for a swim in Barton Springs.

Esther's Follies

Esther's Follies

525 East 6th Street, Austin, TX 78701
, (512) 320-0553

In the mood for a laugh? Check out this modern-day vaudeville theatre.

The Driskill Hotel

The Driskill Hotel

604 Brazos Street, Austin, TX 78701
, (512) 439-1234

Stop by this historic (and haunted) hotel for some dessert or a nightcap.

Kerbey Lane Cafe

2606 Guadalupe Street, Austin, TX 78705
, (512) 477-5717

We can't come to Kerbey Lane without getting chips and queso. The pancakes are also a must. Think it's a weird combo? Just try it.

For all the days along the way
