Bozeman is an incredibly beautiful place, with a fun downtown and access to any kind of outdoor recreation you can imagine. It's also an hour-and-a-half from Yellowstone National Park! We highly recommend bringing or renting a car, and spending several days to explore the nearby area! Here are links to resources for things to do in the area. Top 10 Things to Do in Bozeman

Downtown Main Street

Main Street, Bozeman, MT

Bozeman's downtown Main Street is a fun area to walk around, visit shops and restaurants, bar hop or get ice cream! Highly recommend spending an afternoon or evening just hanging out downtown.

College 'M'

Trail to 'M', Bozeman, MT 59715

A classic hike in town that's short and relatively easy. See views of the city from the summit and lots of cute doggos.

Fairy Lake

A beautiful alpine lake. Make sure you have a high-clearance vehicle for the road up!

Hyalite Canyon

A popular area for all kinds of recreation -- hiking, fishing, swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding.

Float the Madison River

Floating the Madison River is a popular activity in late summer. Rent a tube or raft at one of the outfitters in Bozeman, bring some beer and relax in the sun!

Yellowstone National Park

Bozeman is about an hour and a half from the north entrance of Yellowstone National Park, and two hours from the west entrance. If you've never been, it's a must-do when you're in Bozeman.
