How should we get around downtown?

Answer

This is a downtown Madison wedding in every sense--all of our venues are within sight of the Capitol and within comfortable walking distance! The Hilton is adjacent to the Madison Club; both are a four-block stroll from Grace Church. That said, we will have a shuttle available to run between the Hilton and Grace Church before and after the ceremony. If you're visually oriented, there is a map at the top of the page noting wedding locations (green underline), shuttle and walking paths (yellow), nearby points of interest (blue underline), and downtown's funky traffic pattern (red) for your reference.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Guests who stay at the Hilton Madison Monona Terrace are best off leaving their car in the hotel parking deck, as everything takes place within four blocks of the hotel. Otherwise, downtown Madison has regulated street parking (8am-6pm, Monday-Saturday) and multiple public and private parking decks available, including a deck at the Hilton. PLEASE NOTE: For those who will be driving, Hamilton will be playing at the Overture Center and there is a Wisconsin Basketball home game on Saturday, so parking will be tighter than usual. Uber or Lyft may be good alternatives.

Are kids welcome?

The ceremony will be open to all, but we are planning an adults-only reception. We'll be arranging for onsite childcare so please let Lindsay or Noah know if you'd like to be included!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Ideally, as soon as you know you can (or can't) make it! But if you need time to decide, it would be helpful to us if you let us know by November 1.
