A home is a place where we feel love and comfort. Lindsay and Nate have found just that. In 2018 the couple had moved to Columbus Ohio, and were browsing around for the right kind of partnership on a dating app called Hinge. Coincidentally, Lindsay and Nate’s profiles showed that they were each adventurous and outgoing, and they shared a good mix of pictures showing their unique interests. Over the next few days of texting, they felt it would be a good idea to meet. They chose a good old-fashioned “hole in the wall” bar called Meisters located in Grandview to grab a drink. The night went great and the couple felt a connection and decided to continue to get to know each other. The following weekend Nate had an invite to join Lindsay for a bonfire at her and her best friend’s place. That night went well and the connection was greater. This was the first night they learned they were both ♋️ cancers - people who are very caring, nurturing and protective of their home. They continued then to explore their interests together and got to understand and enjoy one another. About 6 months later Nate felt it was best for Lindsay to meet his 3 year-old daughter, Luna. Lindsay had always felt certain about meeting Luna as she felt at home with Nate and knew the possibilities that could take place. Nate had Luna every other weekend and would take her to his mother’s house to spend time with both his mom and with Luna. So, sure enough, Nate asked Lindsay to come down and meet her. The weekend went well and about a week later the two were making plans to move in together. Once the couple found the perfect comfy home together the bond strengthened unlike anything they have ever experienced. Lindsay and Nate have become the “hinges” in their own home. They continue to hold true to who they are individually while continuing to grow and bond together in new ways. Lindsay and Nate have lived together for over 4 years, have been engaged since December 23rd 2022, and are excited to some day buy a home. They have future plans of traveling, raising Luna, and finding new things to do in between!
