We’re getting married!

Lindsay and Louis first met online a week before their first date! After messaging back and forth, they decided to setup their first date. The original plan was to meet at The Rustic in Uptown Dallas. As soon as they met, sparks flew! Louis was looking fresh and so clean in a crisp white polo and dark jeans. Lindsay was looking absolutely gorgeous in a red dress with her luscious blonde hair flowing in the wind, and rocking high fashion shades! As they smiled and headed into the venue, they noticed it was closed for a private event. Oh no! But not to worry, like a true Dallas socialite, Lindsay had a backup plan for drinks at Katy Trail Ice House. The two quickly made their way across town. At a shaded table and gentle summer breeze, the two flirtatiously chatted for hours and enjoyed their instant chemistry! The heartfelt success of the first date led to a second date, and third date... all in the same weekend! It began early in the summer of 2020 when two hearts were destined to become one. Louis, set out to seek the ultimate approval from Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Elcock for their daughter’s hand in marriage; Lindsay Elizabeth Elcock. The original plan was for Louis to fly out to the Boston area and ask Lindsay’s parents in person. But due to the pandemic, he had to think of a more creative solution. Instead, he hand crafted a unique and heartfelt letter, and quickly sent it to her parents, wax seal and all. Shortly after Mr. and Mrs. Elcock received the letter, they connected with Louis via a FaceTime video call. They immediately gave their blessings, elated with joy and tears of happiness! It was now on to the proposal!! Louis knew he would need some help to keep the surprise super secret, so he asked two of the most wonderful warm-hearted people, Lindsay’s dear friends, Meaghan Viveros and Kathy Gardner. Louis had told Lindsay that they had a birthday party to go to in Dallas. He had even made faux birthday gifts. Lindsay was sold, and they headed out to the party. Lindsay was looking absolutely stunning in a beautiful navy dress and sun-kissed blonde hair, and Louis looking as handsome as usual in a navy polo to mach. Once they arrived at Kathy’s house, it became a bit of a whirlwind and Lindsay had no time to question what was really happening. No birthday party? A rush through the front door and they were met by an amazingly decorated room with loving friends! Louis quickly took Lindsay’s hand and got down on one knee. As family watched live via Facebook, Louis gave a short and sweet speech and then finally asked, “Lindsay Elizabeth Elcock, will you marry me?” She replied with a warm hearted and emotional, “YESSSSSS!” The room erupted in excitement, tears of joy, and love!!
