Yes, there is a whole section of land dedicated to parking. Please follow the signs at the Larkspur house, carpooling is never a bad idea. When you pull up, the driveway splits. Take a hard right to get to the event. If you would like to drop someone off at the top of the driveway closer to the ceremony location there will be room to turn around up top. Again follow the signs.
You are more than welcome to ask us for a special exception, but attendance is limited to a small group of only about 70 total guests. We are attempting to keep the attendee count low due to the limited size of the venue. We are also requesting no children attend the event.
The reception will be held outside a brief walk from the ceremony on football field turf with games and drinks.
For the ceremony, everyone will be seated outdoors on church pews, please be prepared for the outdoor weather. We do not expect the ceremony to be very long and request that cellphones not be used for photos or videos during the ceremony.
After the ceremony, we will be taking family and group photos while guests enjoy the reception. After photos, we will serve food and encourage everyone to mingle. We do ask that during this dinner time the bride and groom are allowed to eat, and would appreciate waiting for any photos or conversations until after they have finished their meal. We would also love for anyone to come up to the mic and raise a toast or tell a story during this time! When most of the attendees have finished their meal, we will move on to a few activities and finish up the evening with an open dance floor and general revelry. Additionally, there will be a videographer conducting interviews in the style of “The Office”, so if you are pulled to the side by the videographer, please have fun answering the questions they ask! The reception will be outside, uncovered on football field turf. The bathrooms are at the larkspur house just a brief walk away, and we will have a chauffeur for those who don’t prefer to walk.
Burnt orange, sand and silver with accents of dark blues, greens and deep mahogany. We want to keep the event very relaxed and informal!
