Flight

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport (AVP) or Philadelphia International Airport (PHL)

AVP is right outside of Wilkes-Barre, and it is an approximately 50 minute drive to Stroudsburg, where the wedding festivities will take place. This is our favorite airport as it is small, easy to navigate, and close to home (for us). PHL is on the outskirts of Philadelphia, and it will be an approximately 1 hour and 45 minute drive to Stroudsburg. As this is a large airport, there are numerous daily flights from all over the United States, so you may be able to find a direct flight from where you live! Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) is approximately a 1 hour and 20 minute drive to Stroudsburg. Admittedly, we do not have a lot of experience with this airport, and you might run into the crazy NYC traffic, but you do you!

Check Air BnB, Vrbo, and the like

Stroudsburg is in the heart of the Poconos, which means there are plenty of awesome lake houses in the general vicinity. Peruse those websites, and find something that works for you if you prefer to stay with a group of friends instead of in a hotel room. We would recommend booking early (no later than early April 2024) because the Poconos tends to be the area that people from PA/NJ flock to for a weekend summer getaway, and options may be limited if you wait. Get it while the getting is good!
