Home James Transportation

Home James provides shuttle service from DIA to WP/Fraser Valley. Transportation can be difficult once you arrive in Fraser. Uber/Lyft’s are very sporadic to non-existent. There is a local bus system but summer operation can be very spaced out and still requires lots of walking from bus stop to your destination. This could be a good option if you plan on taking our event shuttle for our Friday and Saturday events.

Other Transportation Options from Denver

We suggest renting a car or planning on carpooling with someone who is. There are very few uber or lyft drivers in our mountain communities, and there is no guarantee that they will be active when you need them. If you elect to not rent a car there are a few options to get from Denver to Winter Park. Please note, there are no vehicle rental places close to Fraser or Winter Park but we will have a shuttle for our Friday and Saturday events. Bustang The bus picks up at Union Station so you will first have to take the airport train from the airport to Union Station. The Bustang Route is the one that goes to Steamboat/Craig so you will have to make sure you get off in Winter Park! https://ridebustang.com/outrider/?section=routesmap#craig_denver Amtrak There is an Amtrak that goes from Denver to Winter Park. We will have a fair amount of parking at both houses but because this is a backyard wedding with a lot of guests, we encourage you to take the shuttle to/from your lodging in Winter Park and Fraser. Please let us know on the following form where you are staying if you would like to take the shuttle and we will contact you with a shuttle schedule once we have it sorted out. we will have a shuttle for our Friday and Saturday events. There are numerous options for houses/condos to rent on vacation rental sites such as airbnb, VRBO, or Evolve in both Fraser and Winter Park.

Camping

If you would like to camp, we have space in the back meadow of Wabooson Lodge (Lindsay’s mom's house). Please reach out to coordinate with me if interested in this option. There are no electric or water hookups, however, there is an outhouse on the property. For shower access you can use The Fraser Valley Rec Center, which is just a few minutes away. Please do not plan for a campfire. If fire conditions allow, we will have a communal bonfire during the reception. If you want a more secluded camping experience, there are also numerous campsites in the Fraser Valley.
