Lindsay and James were introduced by Lindsay’s cousin who asked them both to be the Godparents of his beautiful baby girl, Everli. The two bonded over their future Goddaughter and helped welcome her into the world the day after she was born. From this day on Lindsay and James were inseparable, knowing that the Lord brought the two of them together for a reason. The couple is forever grateful for both the Lord and their Goddaughter for bringing them together for a lifetime of love and happiness!

The evening started with James taking Lindsay on a date to a charming restaurant in downtown Charleston called "High Cotton". James had done some research and found that a part of one of Lindsay's favorite movies "The notebook" was filmed in this restaurant, so he reserved the two of them, the notorious "Notebook table". They then made their way to their favorite spot in Charleston, Fort Moultrie, for a perfect sunset. James then asked Lindsay to marry him, she could not have been happier or more excited! The now engaged couple made their way to her brothers football game where James surprised her with not only her parents, but her best friend and his mom as well. This will forever remain one of the couple’s favorite memories!
