We met through Griffin's wonderful sister, Moriah, who shared with a class with Lindsay at APSU. Lindsay came to Moriah's place to work on a project and they met there. A few weeks later, Lindsay mustered up the courage to ask Moriah for his number. She happily gave it and Griffin was thrilled.

Lindsay and Griffin went on their first date on May 1, 2015 at Chili's in Clarksville, TN. He held the door open for her and they sat quietly and awkwardly until she shot him with a straw wrapper. It was love at first shot. That kicked off their funny conversations and they've been inseparable ever since.

Griffin timed it perfectly (partly because Lindsay gave him hints). He purchased the ring in December of 2017 and proposed to Lindsay in July of 2018. He took her out to the tree in her front yard and got down on one knee. Her best friend and mother of her godchildren, Kayla, was visiting and took their engagement pictures.

Lindsay and Griffin will be getting married on May 1, 2020 at The Belle Hollow at Miss Lucilles in Clarksville, TN. The ceremony will take place at 6:30pm.
