While their paths first crossed briefly during a virtual co-op at Eastman Chemical Company in 2020, Gabi and Lindsay’s story together didn’t begin until a Tri Cities Society of Women in Engineering outing at the Johnson City Family Skate Center. Gabi was impressed by Lindsay’s skating skills. Lindsay was drawn in by Gabi’s humor. They hit it off immediately. Intrigued by the opportunity for friendship, they went on a few outings around the Tri Cities area. They fell quickly for each other’s love of friends, family, and cats. They became official on April 21st, 2023. Seeing a lifetime of happiness ahead, Lindsay proposed to Gabi on July 9th, 2024 during a family vacation to Door County, Wisconsin. To add to the joy, Gabi proposed to Lindsay on March 2nd, 2025 in Johnson City at the Philosopher’s House, the location of their first outing together.
